Heart for the "Small Big Town"

Janean moved to Brookings in 2001 to work at SDSU and quickly realized it was the "best small BIG town" in the state. For 12 years, she has used her background in university service to provide organized, high-integrity service to her real estate clients. She believes that choosing the right realtor is the second-best decision you can make—right after moving to Brookings.

Janean has been married to her husband, Jim, for 21 years and they share five children and a grandchild. She loves exploring local coffee shops and museums and spending as much time as possible with her "Caugherty Crew".

Favorite local spots: There are so many things to love in Brookings! Awesome local coffee shops, restaurants and other locally owned and operated places that we routinely visit, as well as museums and events. It's the best small BIG town this side of the Missouri!!
