Since 2018, she has focused on providing "thoughtful guidance" to the Brookings community, a town she chose to call home after graduating from SDSU. Rena is a proud mom to a two-year-old son who keeps her on her toes. When she’s off the clock, she enjoys bumming on a beach, bargain hunting, pretending to golf, and spending time at the Dakota Nature Park.
